LEARN HTML

Have you ever seen a really cool webpage, and thought, "Wow, I would really like to be able to make a webpage of my own,"? If you have, which is probably the reason that you're here, then by the end of this easy to use tutorial, you will be able to make the webpage of your dreams.

I once thought about making a cool webpage. So I learned HTML from an online tutorial, much like this one. Though I never actually got around to making a site until I got the idea to teach others, the site that I learned from is unequalled in the entire world of web design. When you are finished with this comprehensive tutorial, check out webmonkey.com. It has tutorials not only on HTML, but it can teach you javascript, java, vbscript, perl/cgi, asp, css, dhtml, and xml.

When you finish writing your webpage, you will almost definitely want other people to see it. In this case, you will need a web host. You can host yourself if you want to, but you will need to buy many servers, and pay lots of money per month for the URL (web address). If you want to be hosted for free, I suggest tripod.com. It allows 50 megabytes of free web space, and gives you a url (username.tripod.com).

If you are reading the tutorial and happen to find something confusing, don't be afraid to send me an email. I'll gladly clarify anything.
